Tortana Desert

The city dwellers rarely venture out into the desert. The climate and sun are harsh outside of the shelter of the shell domes. Orc tribes dominate the wastes, hunting various desert creatures for food and hides. Water is scarce outside of the oases, so the orcs are generally willing to trade passage across the desert in exchange for water, allowing them to avoid the lizardfolk tribes that live there.
