Vishkanya

These finely scaled humanoids have slit pupils and poisonous blood. They are highly competitive, but usually not to the point of conflict. They live near tropical beaches. They were cast out of the realm of Vish for the sin of creativity, altering their bodies in ways their creator did not intend. The Vishkanya for the most part welcomed their exile, finding their god’s expectations to be too confining. Chirurgeon Sishel continued their artistic movement after their people were placed on this unfamiliar beach.

This currency is in the form of small curled “s” made of gold wire. A merchant is known by their necklaces made of them.

Services

Apothecary - Tonatiuh runs his shop out of a woven grass hut. He sells potions and other medicines.

Smith - Chimalma operates her forge under a grass mat awning. She hires children to operate the bellows for a surprisingly generous wage.

Tailor - Coatlicue works primarily with plant fibers but leather is available on request. Her shop is one of the largest in town to display different fashions.

Tattoo and Piercing Shop - Xochipilli does piercings and Cozamalotl does tattoos. They are frequently booked days out.

Grocer - Xolotl buys from farmers and fetches the food from the storehouse on request from his counter in the front of the brick cellar.

Magic Shop - Tezcatlipoca lives under the observatory. He sells his wares while staring at the starry sky. His shop is only open after dark. Wondrous items can be purchased here, and items for enchanting may be dropped off.

Public House - Meztli owns this pavilion where food is served at all hours for a small fee. Rooms are available for rent underground.
