These scaled humanoids have snakelike features including forked tongues and lidless eyes. They are hierarchical, though out of respect for expertise and wisdom rather than force. They dwell on the edge of swamps, though are no stranger to stonework. The Nagaji were cast out of the realm of Hess for the sin of disrespect, claiming to be of the same nature as their god. The Nagaji feel betrayed by their exile, but under the leadership of Arbiter Sesh they quickly set about establishing a foothold in this new swamp.
This currency takes the form of woven and dried grass and vines. It is valued based on how elaborate the weave is.

Apothecary - Indu keeps her shop in a small wooden gazebo. She keeps her potions, poisons, and perfumes in three different fold-out chests under the counter.
Smith - Agni lives over his forge in a stone house with the ground floor open to the air. He primarily sells tools, but is available for armor and weapon commissions.
Tailor - Kalyani's shop is a wooden addition to the front of her stone house. She sells mostly silk and linen, and lowers heavy wooden shutters over the open-air display area during her off hours.
Grocer - Madhur maintains a tidy stone arcade where farmers and resellers can rent booths. She also maintains order in the market.
Magic Shop - Abhilasha keeps a handcart rather than having a permanent shop. She can be found wandering all over town making deliveries and can be commissioned for wands, scrolls, rings, and other wondrous items for later delivery while out and about. Items may be left for enchanting.
Monastery - Sesh is the head of the monastery that the town is built around. The monastery offers free lodging to travelers consisting of a cot, a blanket, and a bland but nourishing vegetable soup served at breakfast and dinner, at which Sesh can be found eating with the public.
