Gnomes live cheery, creative lives. They enjoy art and artifice equally. They are short and wiry. They prefer environments with a good supply of ores, and so tend to live near mountains and beaches. They were cast out of the realm of Tiklick for the sin of hubris, trying to outdo Tiklick in the creation of amusing mechanisms. The gnomes found themselves exiled to a mountain beach and wasted no time in setting up a mine and weaving fishing nets to enjoy the bounty of this new land. Tinker Ninil’s quick thinking and ambition saw her set up as the arguably benevolent autocrat of this new city.
This currency is triangular tin coins in 1, 4, 12, and 60 denominations. They call it the bren.

Apothecary - run by Eirny, a woman short for even a gnome, who may request test subjects.
Smith - where Ninil can be found when not in the drafting hall, often crowded.
Tailor - run by Fedora, who invented an auto loom and needed to find something to do with all the cloth.
Grocer - run by Salter, who specializes in preserved food, though fresh is occasionally available.
Magic Shop - run by Atticus, offers wondrous items; leave items there for enchanting.
Drafting Hall - where Ninil can most often be found.
Inn - serves food, for the time being all beds for rent are for small creatures.
