Dwarves are a serious and industrious people. Physically, they are short and broad, with all members sporting elaborately braided beards. They love stonework and architecture, in addition to various expressions of metallurgy. They were cast out of the realm of Durundun for the sin of obsession, seeking to find the bottom of the world. Upon finding themselves on a mountainside in this new world, the dwarves quickly set about opening a new mine, complete with living quarters and common areas, relying on hunting from the surrounding area for food. Under the leadership of Overdwarf Deldra, the dwarven nation has quickly seen to their survival needs.
This currency comes in the form of a plaque divided in five, each piece made of a different metal: copper, iron, silver, gold, and platinum. When assembled they display a dwarf in profile above the words “DIG DEEP”. 5 dwarf silver = 1 standard gold.

Apothecary - run by an old dwarf named Helor and his niece Bela.
Smith - run by Helmut and his apprentices Hammur and Einwys.
Tailor - run by Bragi, his brother Rollo runs a weavery from the back room.
Grocer - run by Moug, mostly offers meat and various mushrooms in addition to spices.
Magic Shop - run by Gundula, sells wands and scrolls; leave items there for enchanting.
City Office - where Deldra can be found during business hours.
Ale Hall/Inn - run by Hog, short for Hogshead.
